On July 30th Dr. Bob Maganini will set out from Sammy’s for a trek that will cover 1000+ miles in 10 to 14 days culminating in a 14,000 ft hike up Pike’s Peak in Colorado. All proceeds raised during this event are being donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the American Brain Tumor Association. On August 22, 2010, Sammy’s Bikes of St. Charles will be sponsoring a Charity Bike Ride to benefit Tri City Health Partnership, the only free medical clinic in Kane county. The event will include a 15 mile family ride, and a 50 mile ride (with optional 12 mile bike trail loop would make a metric century). Sammy is packing up this coming March to make a trip out west to beautiful San Diego California and he is inviting you to come take part in a “Big Ride” hosted by the most hallowed brand in cycling: Colnago.
